Last night I got the itch to chef up some twice baked potatoes. My mom sold me on them over this past holiday season. I have always loved mashed potatoes, sour cream, bacon, cheese and onions on their own but never thought of combing them all. A twice baked potato is the way to meld all these amazing pieces of grub into one perfect dish. The only problem with the whole thing was I didn’t mash the potatoes as much as they should have been. Instead of being a puree, it was a mix of chunks and mash. Still tasted good but not what they could have been.
This problem has a simple solution, mixing kitchen small appliances. Mashing by hand is a lot of work and never works very well. There are all sorts of cheap kitchen small appliances online that would work perfect for mashing potatoes. Yesterday was also the first day I found out how cheap a 5 pound bag of potatoes is. Believe or not they had them for one dollar at a local grocer. It would be near impossible to find even a silk flower arrangement for that cheap.
