Standing in the kitchen with a blue vase and mini decorative clock in adjacent palms, my mind can’t seem to wrap around the idea of home decorating. This is not my forte. Video games, now that is an area I can could quickly tell a person what works and what doesn’t. Home decorating is about as foreign to me as a North Korean’s first time in New York City. Even with all the online help from retailers advertising what they think would look good in homes all over, I still have trouble.
Big problems call for big solutions so I call in the big guns. My girlfriend comes over and quickly tells me what will and will not look good hanging from my apartment walls. Home decorating just a got a lot easier. I have no problem cashing in on knick knacks sold online when there is someone with interior design skills sitting next to me at the computer. Little by little my apartment is starting to look less like a dorm room and more like a classy joint. It is all about taking baby steps.
