silk flower arrangements, home decorating


I have a large cut out cubby hole at the top of the stairs leading to my master bedroom. My husband and I spent a while looking at home decorating websites for the perfect article to place in that prominent spot. We agreed on a large spanish style vase. It is a multi-medium piece; part ceramic, part copper. It looks great and we love it!

I have quite the collection of silk flower arrangements. When looking at the home decorating websites I knew the the vase we chose had to work with these arrangements. My husband didn't quite understand but when I explained we began to pick out good candidates for the job.

Just yesterday, I changed out the silk flower arrangements I had in the huge vase. I like to keep them freshly changed with the seasons. Now that the weather is changing and it is officially Fall it was time. I removed the summer pussy willow's and yellow silk flower arrangements. I replaced them with brown seed casings, orange and red flowers. I wonder if/when my husband will notice!
