silk flower arrangements

I'm sure you're like me; you have a few silk flower arrangements that you've had for years but have gotten tired of. There's nothing wrong with them, it's just that the silk flower arrangements aren't contained to one or two pieces, the silk flower arrangements are spread out to a few pieces. So rather than get rid of the silk flowers, simply recycle them into another silk flower arrangement.

I recently took silk flowers from a few silk flower arrangements that my mom was going to give away in our next purge for one of those charities that pick up your old things and turned them into something new. Earlier, I had offered to take those silk flower arrangements and make something else with them, a fall wreath. My mom mulled it over and decided she'd like that. So after procuring the necessary supplies (grapevine wreath, ribbon and butterflies) I sat down with the old silk flower arrangements and took those apart, putting the flowers in the grapevine wreath. Add a few butterflies and a handmade bow using two ribbons and it was done! It really didn't take me that long to make the wreath, but when it was finished, I had a beautiful, new, fall wreath that looked like I had spent a lot of money on. When all it took was a little creativity and recycling those old silk flower arrangements.
