What Do You Mean You Don't Have a Vacuum Cleaner? |

This past weekend I stopped in to visit my little sister at her college dorm. I was actually in the city on business, and decided to stay through the weekend to spend some time with the little sister that I don't see too often. She invited me up to her dorm where I noticed that she had a cat. Because I'd been to that same college many years ago, I knew that once upon a time animals weren't allowed in the dorm. I asked her about it, and she said that they still weren't, but that they weren't really strict about it. She'd found this cat while out jogging when it was a kitten, and she couldn't leave it abandoned in the woods, so she adopted it on the spot.
The cat was really sweet, but a little wild and while I was there knocked a plant out of the window sill. My sister groaned and went next door to borrow a vacuum cleaner from one of her friends. When she came back, I asked why she didn't have a vacuum cleaner of her own, and she said it had never been a priority. She said she doesn't need to use a vacuum cleaner very often, but when she does she just borrows one from her friends. I thought it sounded logical enough, but I decided that she at least needed a small vacuum cleaner to clean up the small jobs without having to worry about borrowing one from someone else.
I knew she probably wouldn't be overly excited about it, but I was going to order her a vacuum cleaner for Christmas. I figured I could probably find a small vacuum cleaner that wouldn't take up too much space in her tiny dorm, but a vacuum cleaner that would be able to do the occasional job that she needed done, such as cleaning up the dirt from the knocked over plant. We spent the rest of our weekend shopping and eating far too much, but I kept the vacuum cleaner in the back of my mind to order when I got home.
Once I arrived home on Sunday evening, I decided while I was thinking about the vacuum cleaner, and while I was checking email anyway, that I'd go ahead and see what I could find for my sister. It didn't take a lot of searching before I found the TTI Dirt Devil M0213PNK Kone Vacuum Cleaner which I knew would be perfect for my sister. I knew she would love the fact that it was pink, plus if you see it, you wouldn't think that it's a vacuum cleaner. I ordered it from Lucia's Store who can be found online at www.luciasstore.com. The price was great, which means I'll be able to get sis something else that she’ll actually enjoy and not just something she needs. Maybe I’ll get her some new perfume or her favorite cd. |
